know us
The passionate and sincere Debby Fries is the band’s lead vocalist, pianist and founder. Growing up in Ohio, she was surrounded by a musical family that instilled in her a genuine love of music. Influenced by the sounds of Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt and Janis Joplin she found herself singing in the church choir and was a member of her school band playing many instruments including the saxophone. With The Beatles as a huge influence she got her first guitar at age 13. She enjoys performing well known songs as well as originals. She would pay her passion and love of music forward, when allowing her soon to be born son Alex Fries to experience the primal sounds and rhythms of the great Rolling Stones at a show in Oakland, California. His musical desires were clearly set in motion as he raised the rafters in the living room pounding his drums with his musical Mom playing the piano.
